Durga Puja VIP Pass 2026 — SITI vs Porikroma vs FFD

By Team durgapujopandals.com•
Durga Puja VIP Pass 2026 — SITI vs Porikroma vs FFD

A Durga Puja VIP pass is essentially a booklet or a set of physical card vouchers, with one voucher assigned to each participating pandal. When you present the designated card at a participating club’s gate, up to four visitors can skip the standard public queue and enter via the designated Invitee / VIP Entry (অতিথি প্রবেশ).

That is the entire mechanism. It does not grant you access to pandals that aren’t on the list, and it does not shrink the sea of humanity clogging the barricaded approach lanes leading to the entry gate. And once inside the sanctum, the crowd is the same for everyone.

So whether a pass is worth ₹950, ₹999, or ₹1,499 comes down to one question: how many of the pandals on it were you going to visit anyway?

Here is every pass on sale for Durga Puja 2026, what each one covers, and exactly where the big three overlap.

45 pandals on SITI's ₹1,499 pass
54 pandals on Porikroma's ₹950 card
52 pandals on Forum's ₹999 passport
26 pandals common on all three

Every 2026 Pass at a Glance

Six options you can secure right now. Two are arriving later, and one third-party reseller should be avoided.

Cost Comparison: Per Person, Per Pandal

When you divide the pass price by the number of pandals it covers and the people it admits, here is what you actually pay for each entrance:

  1. Porikroma Map Invitee Card: ₹950 ÷ 54 pandals ÷ 4 people = ₹4.40 per person per pandal (₹17.59 per pandal for the group)
  2. Forum for Durgotsab Pujor Passport: ₹999 ÷ 52 pandals ÷ 4 people = ₹4.80 per person per pandal (₹19.21 per pandal for the group)
  3. Sharadiya Patrika Magazine: ₹320 ÷ 30 pandals ÷ 2 people = ₹5.33 per person per pandal (₹10.67 per pandal for the couple)
  4. SITI Puja Pass: ₹1,499 ÷ 45 pandals ÷ 4 people = ₹8.33 per person per pandal (₹33.31 per pandal for the group)
  5. Forum for Durgotsab Puja e-Pass: ₹300 ÷ 32 pandals ÷ 1 person = ₹9.38 per pandal

The number that matters, however, is not the theoretical cost across all 50+ pandals, but what you pay per pandal you will actually walk into. That is why matching the lists to your itinerary matters more than the headline ticket price.

Break-Even Analysis: If you are traveling solo (₹300) or as a couple (₹600), the e-Pass saves money and completely eliminates pickup counter trips. For three people (₹900 + tax), the price matches the physical booklet. For four or more people, the physical ₹999 passport is vastly superior: it covers 52 pandals instead of 32 for the same price.

The Magazine Passes (Budget-Friendly)

  • Sharadiya Patrika (₹320): Available on newsstands across Bengal or online via Boichitro.in. Includes passes for 30 pandals admitting 2 people. Unbeatable value if you already enjoy the festive literary edition.
  • Tridhara Magazine (Out of Stock): Tridhara Sammilani’s annual commemorative Sharodiya Barshiki / souvenir magazine includes exclusive entry passes for the South Kolkata heavyweight pandal. Online copies are currently Out of Stock. If you missed the online release, you can check directly with the Tridhara Sammilani club office on Manoharpukur Road (near Priya Cinema) for any remaining offline allocations.
  • Debi Pranam: The traditional directory magazine with pass inserts, available in early October.

Buyer Beware: Unauthorized Resellers & Scams

  • Social Media & Messaging Groups: Avoid buying passes or vouchers from unauthorized individuals on WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook Marketplace, or OLX. Puja committees use barcode/QR scanning at VIP gates, and duplicate or cancelled serial numbers will be rejected on the spot.
  • Always Buy Direct: Purchase only through official ticketing and distribution partners — BookMyShow (Forum for Durgotsab), Zomato District (Porikroma Map), SITI Networks counters, or official registration portals like durgapujaadani.in.

So Which One Should You Buy?

Buy Porikroma (₹950) if:
  • You want the highest number of pandals (54) for the lowest price.
  • Your route runs through Ultadanga, Kankurgachi, and Beleghata (it is the only pass with all three Ultadanga pujas, Mitali Club, and Sandhani).
  • You are heading to Mudiali Club in South Kolkata.
  • You prefer booking via Zomato District or direct UPI QR payment.
Buy Forum Passport (₹999) if:
  • You want Ballygunge Cultural, Hindusthan Club, 66 Pally, Hatibagan Sarbojanin, or Behala Friends (exclusive to this pass).
  • You are spending an evening in Howrah (only pass with Howrah pandals).
  • You want North Kolkata's traditional circuit in one booklet: Tala Barowari, both Kumartulis, both Ahiritolas, both Hatibagans, and Kashi Bose Lane.
  • You can conveniently pick up your booklet at Sovabazar or Kalighat between 12th and 14th October.
Buy SITI (₹1,499) if:
  • You need passes that stay valid through Dashami night (21st October).
  • Your evenings center on Jodhpur Park, Rajdanga, or Garia (95 Pally, Amra Kojon, Jatra Suru Sangha).
  • You want Salt Lake's BJ Block and EC Block on one pass.
  • You want home courier delivery without coordinating phone logistics.
The Ultimate Power Combo: If one pass isn't enough, Porikroma (₹950) + Forum for Durgotsab (₹999) is the optimal combination. For ₹1,949, your group of four secures VIP access to 75 unique pandals across Kolkata and Howrah. Combining any pass with SITI costs ₹500–₹1,000 more for fewer total pandals:
  • 75 pandals for ₹1,949: Porikroma + Forum
  • 66 pandals for ₹2,449: SITI + Porikroma
  • 64 pandals for ₹2,498: SITI + Forum
  • 80 pandals for ₹3,448: All Three

Before You Pay for Any Pass: Key Rules

  1. Pay only through official channels: For SITI, use sitipujapass.com or its 6 counters. For Porikroma, use District or porikromamap.com. For Forum, use BookMyShow (Passport) or aaroananda.com (e-Pass). For the Adani Preview, register at durgapujaadani.in.
  2. Match your itinerary against the list first: A 54-pandal pass that only covers 4 pandals on your route is a 4-pandal pass. Use our Puja Route Planner to group pandals by Metro station first.
  3. Four means four: All three physical passes admit up to four people per set. If your family has five or six members, you must purchase two sets. On the Forum's passport, children aged 5 and over count toward the four.
  4. A card gets you past the gate, not past the road barricades: On peak nights (Saptami through Navami), police block vehicle access 1–2 km away from major pandals. Travel via Kolkata Metro and focus on one specific neighborhood per night.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Which Durga Puja VIP pass is best in 2026?

On value, Porikroma Map’s invitee card (₹950 for 54 pandals) and Forum for Durgotsab’s Pujor Passport (₹999 for 52 pandals) are neck and neck, both admitting four people. Twenty-six pandals are shared between both passes, so your decision should rest on whether you prefer Porikroma’s Ultadanga/Kankurgachi/Mudiali list or Forum’s Ballygunge Cultural/66 Pally/Howrah list.

What is the Adani Durga Puja Preview 2026?

The Adani Group is organizing the “Durga Puja Adani Preview 2026”, a curated preview tour across eight selected prominent Kolkata pandals from 10th to 12th October 2026. Visitors can apply and register for free digital QR passes on durgapujaadani.in.

Can I get a VIP pass for Tridhara Sammilani?

Tridhara Sammilani does not participate in multi-pandal commercial pass booklets like SITI or Forum. Entry passes were bundled with their annual commemorative Sharodiya Barshiki magazine, which is currently Out of Stock online. You may inquire directly at the Tridhara Sammilani club office on Manoharpukur Road for any remaining offline allocations.

Does a VIP pass work at Sree Bhumi or Suruchi Sangha?

No. Neither Sree Bhumi Sporting Club, Suruchi Sangha, Ekdalia Evergreen, Singhi Park, Tridhara Sammilani, Chetla Agrani, Deshapriya Park, College Square, Mohammad Ali Park, nor Tala Prattoy is included on any multi-pandal commercial pass.

Can one pass admit more than four people?

No. All three physical passes (SITI, Porikroma, and Forum for Durgotsab) strictly admit up to four people per set. If you are a party of 5 to 8 people, you must purchase two complete sets. For groups of 1 to 3 people, the Forum’s digital e-Pass (₹300/head) is often more economical.

When do the passes expire?

  • Forum for Durgotsab Passport: Expires at midnight on 20th October (Maha Navami). It is not valid on Dashami.
  • Porikroma Map Card: Valid until 5:00 AM on 21st October (Dashami morning).
  • SITI Puja Pass: Valid through the entirety of 21st October (Maha Dashami).
